The GESLCC called five players from Uprising CC to complete the eleven players in the team. Among them were Pardeep KUMAR, Michael fuss, Nelson Burrell, Sarbrinder Singh, and Abdul Nasir Abdul Basid.
The GESLCC Management has appointed new and young Arun Jeev Arunthavaraja to be the captain of the team for this match to show his first leadership abilities.
The GESLCC won the toss and batted first. Scored 181 runs all out in 33 overs.
As a response to that, Cern CC batted with a steady start with no lost until the 8th over bring the score to 58. The opening partnership of Matthew & Chris was broken on the 8th over and added the third wicket towards the latter part of the same over by Pardeep. His excellent bowling capability added a total of 6 wickets for 45 runs in 8 overs.
Dugel’s took 4 wickets for 21 runs in 7 overs and found to be his best bowling average for the season.
Ruwan a young player open the first spell in the GESLCC innings and completed 7 overs with 32 runs. Ruwan in his first match with GESLCC just after recovering his injury showed great possibilities for the team and he revealed that he would be a big asset for the club.
The other two bowlers were Nelson 2-0-10-0,and Arun 2-0-27-0.
GESLCC Sanjeeva & Nelson opening partnership made 23 runs in 7 overs. Nelson was caught by Daniel for 29 runs while Sanjeewa was 6, caught behind the wicket. In this match Zarook played a brilliant half century (his first in this season) with 52 runs before being caught by Matthew . He faced 42 balls and hit 7 boundaries and 2 Sixes. Zarook batting performances was an inspiration to the team while the score board showed 5 wicket for 76 runs. Sarbinder Singh scored 22 runs – 3×4, 1×6 and Dugel scored 10 – 1×4,1×6.

Cern CC was all out for 148 in 27 over. This resulted a victory for GESLCC by 33 runs which was a happy ending for the season.
