Geneva T20 Cricket Tournament – 2015

The first Geneva T20 cricket tournament will  be played on the weekend of April 25th and April 26th to kick start the cricket season for the year 2015. The matches will be played on  two grounds ( Bout du monde and CERN C.C ground). The following teams will compete in this inaugural T20 cricket tournament.

  1. Cern Cricket Club
  2. Geneva XI Stars Cricket Club.
  3. Geneva Cricket Club
  4. Geneva SriLanka Cricket Club.

Matches will be played on a round robin league basis as per schedule given below with the top two teams competing in the final for a prize of CHF 500/-. Cern cricket club and Geneva C.C, and Geneva Sri Lanka C.C,  have agreed to host the tournament.

14.30 Final at Bout du Monde Ground with the top two teams.

Rules and regulations.

The rules of the Pickwick T20 cricket tournament will apply i.e –one bowler can bowl a maximum of 4 overs etc. In case points after the round Robin league are equal than the two teams with a better net run rate will qualify for the final. All matches will be played with a traditional RED cricket ball.

The teams will be responsible for their own refreshments for the Round Robin League matches but refreshments will be provided for the final match. The winner will receive a Prize of CHF 500 and the Geneva T20 cup trophy. We encourage you to invite as many friends to the matches in general and the final in particular to make it a memorable weekend.
