The Geneva Sri Lanka Cricket Club (GESLCC) has now open the new players registration for the season of 2018. Therefore, anyone who wishes to play for the team should follow the link below and fill the survey and the Swiss league registration form and submit, before 31 December 2017.
This will help to the club management to take important decisions such as whether or not to participate in both T20 and 40 over competition games for the 2018 season. The club is already in the process of participating 40 over games. But there are some who are willing to participate in T20 as well. The club will try its best to accommodate both if there is sufficient demand.
In 2017, we played 6 league matches + Quarter final. and 7 T20 matches + Semi Final , In the month of June we went to Porto for a weekend.
If we decided to join T20 as well for the 2018 season, we have to play a minimum of 13 games. Also some T20 matches will be played on Saturday as well. At times, two T20 games will have to be played in one day in any location in Geneva region.
Therefore we would like to attract more players for the next season and split into two to three groups according your weekend availability and preferences with respect to the type of game(s) you wish to participate.
However please be mindful that this is an initiative towards a happy and enjoyable cricket in Switzerland in 2018.
